I just got my t-shirts from Scared Panda in the mail today and figured they would make a perfect first review! I was introduced to the Scared Panda clothing company by a friend who knows I have a slight (okay, full-blown is more accurate) obsession with panda bears. If it was legal to have a panda as a pet, I’d have a millon. I was immediately drawn to their site because they were advertising $5 t-shirts. I’m a frugal shopper and you really can’t get much cheaper than that!
After reading a little bit about Scared Panda, I officially fell in love. Scared Panda was started by Katie and Clint. Not only do they feature panda bears on a bunch of their eco-friendly t-shirts…they are a MINNESOTA company! Woo! I grew up in Minnesota and as much as I say I’m glad I left, I miss it a tiny bit! The t-shirts are NOT just panda shirts! There’s a bunch of t-shirts that only true Minnesotans would know the meaning behind (check out the “Minnesota Burrito” shirt, and you’ll see what I mean!) Also, 10% of every shirt purchased goes towards Minnesota Computers for Schools. This organization trains inmates how to refurbish computers that are then given to K-12 schools across MN! How awesome is that? You get an awesome t-shirt and a student gets access to technology! Win-win, for sure.
I decided to order the “Pillow Fight” t-shirt for both my boyfriend and I and was surprised that both shirts were American Apparel shirts, since they usually run $20+ for a plain t-shirt in their store! With shipping, I only ended up paying $16.00 for two adorable panda t-shirts. Definitely a steal.

The shirts are both super soft! Perfect for under a comfortable hoodie! I LOVE that Katie and Clint included a hand-written message! I feel the “Minnesota Nice” all the way over here in Illinois! Now the only thing I have left to do is try to convince the boyfriend to wear them at the same time! He says he won’t but…I’ve got my ways! *wink wink!*
